Girish G. Patil is the National Convenor of Rashtriya Yuva Jal Biradari. He also is the founder of the Gramswaraj Research and Development Foundation. Under the aegis of this foundation, runs a movement called Youth Organisation For Green India (YOGI). He is active in the fields of environment, sustainable rural development, education, and literature as well.

Ravsaheb (Ajit) Nichit Trustee, Jaldindi Pratisthan
Ravsaheb Nichit has taken tremendous efforts to prevent river pollution and water literacy. He has organised Alandi to Pandharpur Jaldindi since 2002. He has successfully done tree plantation and conservation in 25 villages through the tree adoption scheme concept and also built dams in hilly areas to collect water.
Veena Patil River Activist and Farmer
A Postgraduate in Computer Science and also completed a Diploma course in “Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Nature Conservation” from the Ecological Society. She worked at the National Informatics Centre Government of India from 1989-2018. Understanding her true calling to serve Mother Earth, she started working for River Restoration and Farming after taking voluntary retirement in 2018. She is a team member for the ‘Chala Januya Nadila’ for River Meena in Junnar Taluka and River Mula Mutha.


Sathya Natarajan The Changemaker
Sathya Natarajan, Captain Puneri Nayak of Indian Swachata League (Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs) is nominated as Swach Survekshan Ambassador 2023 by PMC. He is the award winner of iVolunteer National Finalist and also received the Best Humanitarian award by GMHA. He has been volunteering with 60+ social groups and NGOS around various social causes.


Satish Khade Water Activist and Civil Engineer
Satish Khade has been working in the field of water conservation for more than a decade. He is the editor of the monthly ‘Jalsanvad’ publication running for the last 17 years which is dedicated to water issues. He’s been guiding several government and non-government organizations to create awareness and actionable steps in this domain.
Upendra Dhonde Mentor, Mission Easy Water Literacy
He is a senior Ground Water Scientist working in Central Ground Water Board for 22 years. He has published 8 books, 51 booklets, conducted 7 state-level workshops and 50 trainings. He has created a force of volunteers called Nisargrakshaks all over Maharashtra. He has completed Water Security Plans for 35 villages, Nisargbet at 22 sites and 9 village ponds.
