Q. What is your topmost priority as the founder and managing director of InfraBeat?
I founded the company with the objective of giving opportunities to graduates belonging to tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The intention has been to enhance their skills, employ them, and give them a platform where they can stay motivated, work diligently and in the long run they are able to replicate the same.
Q. What were the initial challenges you faced and overcame in your journey towards making InfraBeat a well-known name in national and international space?
Since it was a self-funded organisation, the liquidation was a challenge for the initial five years as re-investing was necessary. At the same time, bank loans were not available without collateral and angel funding for startups was new at that time, especially for the CLOUD concept being a new industry back then.

Q. What has been your first achievement with regard to your organisation?
There are two significant achievements; one being that our first client was a leading manufacturer of two and three-wheelers and they are still with us. The second is, the fact that whoever I trained and recruited ten years ago, continues to be in my team.
Q. The name of your company InfraBeat is very appealing. How would you like to define it?
The name came from two words, Infrastructure and Heartbeat. As we know, our heartbeat is our existence, in the same manner, cloud computing for infrastructure is its heartbeat, hence the name Infrabeat.

Q. What are your focus areas around Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the employees and society?
We have been successfully working towards the awareness of health and sports for people. We are also working on providing basic facilities and infrastructure for sports in schools in rural areas. Building toilets for school children is also one of the focus areas.
Q. Who is your inspiration? Who is the force behind your successful journey as a global entrepreneur?
My own dedication, strength and focus created the experience which made me realise that I must build something substantial for people to use and replicate the experience. Basically, I wanted to create opportunities for the next generation to learn, explore and grow.
